Pokémon GO Booster Box S10b

Pokémon GO Booster Box S10b

Experience Pokémon GO in card form with this special expansion from the Sword & Shield series. The set is a collaboration between the mobile game Pokémon GO, available on iOS and Android, and the Pokémon Trading Card Game.

This factory-sealed booster box contains 20 booster packs with 6 cards each, totaling 120 Japanese Pokémon cards.

The mobile game meets the trading cards

The expansion features Pokémon that players can encounter in Pokémon GO. The illustrations combine hand-drawn and photorealistic artwork, with references to different aspects of the mobile game.

The set includes cards that use the Pokémon V, Pokémon VMAX, Pokémon VSTAR, and Radiant Pokémon mechanics. Items, locations, and characters from Pokémon GO also appear on Trainer cards.

Pokémon GO logo and distinctive details

As a general rule, the cards in the set feature the Pokémon GO logo in the artwork. The exception is regular and Full Art versions of Pokémon with a rule box.

However, the promotional versions released through Pokémon GO card products in the various regions do feature the logo. Cards with the Pokémon GO logo also have a Niantic copyright notice, in addition to the markings for Pokémon, Nintendo, Creatures, and GAME FREAK.

Japanese and international packs

In Asian markets, Pokémon GO was sold in booster boxes, like regular expansions. The Japanese packs contain 6 cards per pack.

In Western markets, the booster packs were distributed through their own Pokémon GO products, with the first releases on July 1, 2022. These packs contain 10 cards. In the English edition and languages that follow the same set structure, all cards with the rarity of Holofoil Rare and lower are also available as Reverse Holofoil.

The product on this page is the Japanese box with 20 packs and 6 cards per pack.

Previous campaign with promo cards

At the Japanese launch, special promo packs were also offered with qualifying purchases. The campaign featured 7 different promo cards with alternative illustrations to collect.

Promo packs are only included if this is expressly stated at the time of purchase.

Release

Pokémon GO was released simultaneously in Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, and Thailand on June 17, 2022. The Indonesian edition followed on August 24, 2022.
