Pokémon Paradigm Trigger Booster Box S12

Pokémon Paradigm Trigger Booster Box S12

Explore a mysterious island with Pokémon Paradigm Trigger, known in Japanese as パラダイムトリガー, the twelfth and final Japanese main expansion in the Sword & Shield series. The set features Lugia, Fossil Pokémon, and Pokémon of mysterious origins.

This factory-sealed booster box contains 30 booster packs with 5 cards each, for a total of 150 Japanese Pokémon cards.

Legendary Pokémon and an Unexplored Island

Paradigm Trigger takes you to a remote, unexplored island where Pokémon live in peace. The story brings together ancient artifacts, Fossil Pokémon, and creatures of mysterious origins.

Lugia and Regidrago appear as Pokémon VSTAR, while Regieleki represents Pokémon VMAX. The set thus offers several ways to build upon the mechanics from the Sword & Shield series.

VSTAR Powers on Trainer Cards

For the first time since the introduction of VSTAR Powers, these powers are also available on Trainer cards.

The cards depict ancient artifacts, bearing similarities to those from Skyridge, and fit Paradigm Trigger's theme of ancient secrets and mysterious discoveries.

Paradigm Trigger and Silver Tempest

The international expansion Silver Tempest combines cards from the Japanese sets Paradigm Trigger and Incandescent Arcana, as well as cards from Lost Abyss and Dark Phantasma that were not included in Lost Origin. It also contains a few remaining cards from VMAX Climax.

In Silver Tempest, Lugia, Alolan Vulpix, Regieleki, and Regidrago are key Pokémon. Lugia, Alolan Vulpix, and Regidrago are available as Pokémon VSTAR, while Regieleki is the expansion's only Pokémon VMAX.

Other Pokémon VSTAR in the international expansion include Unown, Mawile, and Serperior. Alakazam, Jirachi, and Tsareena represent Radiant Pokémon.

Silver Tempest also continues Trainer Gallery, a separate sub-series of 30 full-art cards, based on previously released cards.

This information applies to the complete international Silver Tempest expansion. Not all of the mentioned cards are included in the Japanese Paradigm Trigger.

Languages and Differences in Pack Contents

Silver Tempest was released in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese. Paradigm Trigger is available in Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Thai, and Indonesian.

An international Silver Tempest booster pack contains 10 cards from the expansion, a Pokémon TCG Live code card, and either a Basic Energy card or a VSTAR marker. In the English edition and languages that follow the same set structure, all cards with the rarity of Holofoil Rare and below are also available as Reverse Holofoil.

The Japanese Paradigm Trigger packs in this box contain 5 cards each.
