Discover Pokémon Raging Surf, known in Japanese as 強化拡張パック レイジングサーフ, the third Japanese sub-expansion in the Scarlet & Violet series. The set features legendary and Mythical Pokémon, along with rare Pokémon such as Gholdengo.

This factory-sealed booster box contains Japanese Pokémon cards, with 5 cards in each booster pack.

Tera Pokémon ex with new types

Raging Surf continues Tera Pokémon ex with altered types, which were introduced in the previous expansion Ruler of the Black Flame. These cards give well-known Pokémon a different card type than they are usually associated with, opening up new combinations and strategies.

Technical Machine cards return

The set reintroduces Technical Machine cards, which were last featured in Rising Rivals. From Raging Surf onward, these are considered Pokémon Tool cards and can be used as part of your deck's strategy.

Designed for Sealed format

Raging Surf is designed for tournaments in the Sealed format. Participants receive sealed card products and build decks with the cards they open, along with any additional cards provided by the organizer.

To support this play format, the set also includes new printings of useful cards such as Switch and Rare Candy.

Release and international versions

Raging Surf was launched in Japan on September 22, 2023, followed by releases in Traditional Chinese on September 29, 2023, Korean on October 13, 2023, and Thai on October 27, 2023.

Most of the cards that first appeared in Raging Surf were later included in the international expansion Paradox Rift. The remaining cards appeared in Paldean Fates.
