Pokémon Shiny Treasure ex Booster Box SV4a

Pokémon Shiny Treasure ex Booster Box SV4a

Discover Pokémon Shiny Treasure ex, known in Japanese as ハイクラスパック シャイニートレジャーex, the first High Class set and the fourth Japanese sub-expansion in the Scarlet & Violet series.

The set introduces Shiny Pokémon to the Scarlet & Violet card game and combines them with newly released versions of previous cards, with a particular focus on Pokémon ex. Each booster pack contains 10 cards, at least one of which is guaranteed to be a Pokémon ex card.

Shiny Pokémon and special illustrations

Shiny Treasure ex gives well-known Pokémon new colors and collectible variants. Shiny cards are included among the set's secret cards and have their own rarity levels:

• RR: Common Pokémon ex cards.
• S: Shiny Pokémon with different illustrations from the regular releases.
• SSR: Shiny Pokémon ex that use the illustrations from their previous Full Art releases.

Cards that are neither Pokémon ex nor secret cards do not have rarity symbols in this set.

Several Pokémon cards also feature illustrations that were previously only available on English SVP Black Star promo cards. The Asian releases also feature common cards in Reverse Holofoil.

A comprehensive collection set

With 360 different cards, Shiny Treasure ex broke the record for the largest Japanese Pokémon card set from Shiny Star V, which had 330 cards. The record stood until the release of Start Deck 100 Battle Collection in December 2025.

The number describes the entire set, including secret cards, and is not the number of cards in a single booster box.

Shiny Treasure ex and Paldean Fates

The international special expansion Paldean Fates was launched on January 26, 2024 and is mainly based on Shiny Treasure ex. It also includes the remaining cards from Raging Surf, Terastal Starter Sets, Ancient Roar, and Future Flash that were not included in Paradox Rift.

Paldean Fates is the second international special expansion in the Scarlet & Violet series and contains:

• 11 Shiny Pokémon ex.
• 7 other Pokémon ex and 3 Tera Pokémon ex.
• 3 illustration rare cards with Shiny Pokémon.
• 8 special illustration rare cards with Shiny Pokémon ex or Supporter cards.
• 6 hyper rare Pokémon ex with a new gold-colored, embossed foil effect.

Paldean Fates is available in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese. In these releases, all cards with the rarity level Rare and below are also available as Reverse Holofoil.

As with other international special expansions, Paldean Fates packs were distributed through their own products rather than as regular, separate booster packs.
